Just stick with it for a few days and practice in CSSDM to see if you improve. Now about the tweaking, whenever you make a major change (such as turning off acceleration for the first time) you will probably play worse before adjusting to it. I also know an engineer who works for Logitech and have learned a lot from him as well. I consider myself an expert in this subject, as my college major is electrical engineering. If you would like to remove the test mode watermark, run Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider and choose Watermark removal.
Verify by using Mouse Rate or DirectInput Mouse Rate (you can download one from here)ĩ. Most newer mice nowadays come clocked at higher mouse rates anyway, either at stock or after installing drivers so usually you don't need to do anything (Deathadder,Xai etc). If you're not sure about what I'm talking about, I suggest you read the guide below but in a nutshell increasing the mouse rate will decrease response time and make the mouse feel smoother and more responsive. While I have personally stopped changing my mouse rate because I found it a hassle at LAN, other players still find it easy and beneficial. While Windows XP users may still use it, the most popular mouse fix for all versions of Windows including Windows 7 now seems to be the MarkC fix. Personally, it seems the majority of players have moved on from the CPL mouse fix, largely down to the fact Windows 7 is out and other fixes came out prior to that. If you want the full guide to understand everything I suggest reading Antigen's guide first (below). My two points below are a basic guide for experienced users. When I first started taking first person shooters seriously his guide helped me understand the ins and outs of Windows mouse sensitivity and most of it is still valid today. The quote below is not my own work, it's from a dude called Antigen on who originally posted it on the CAL forums years ago.
It would be great if someone can please confirm by testing on their Win 10 (or other) PC at 4k resolution.9:04pm Jul 26th 11 and edited 12:16am Jul 27th 11 My conclusion is that Windows changes the meaning of the 11 pointer speed steps when running at 4k resolution. In fact, when I'm at 4k resolution, 5/11 pointer speed is more accurate than 6/11, although 5/11 does have a frequent green lines. When I reduce my resolution from 4k to 2560x1440 or anything less than that, the MouseMovementRecorder works perfectly with EnPtPr switched off.

I think I've cracked the problem - and sadly, it's bad news! Was hoping someone here might have an idea of what's going on? Ideally, would like for the cursor to move properly even without enhanced pointer precision switched on.
